Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are two countries in Central Asia that have amazing nature and interesting cultures for tourists to explore. They were both part of the Silk Road in ancient times.

In Kazakhstan, you can see the beautiful Tian Shan Mountains and visit Almaty, which was once the capital. Almaty is famous for its apple orchards and old buildings. The top places to visit are Kaindy and Kolsai Lakes and Charyn Canyon.

Kyrgyzstan is known for its mountains and lakes, like Lake Issyk-Kul. It also has a nomadic culture. In the capital city, Bishkek, you can experience traditional Kyrgyz life by staying with a local family in a yurt. The Tien Shan Mountains are great for hiking and horseback riding.

Day 1
Almaty
Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Standard check-in time. Enjoy lunch at a café. Afterward, embark on a city tour, including a visit to Kok-Tobe hill. Have dinner at a local café before being transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2
Almaty-Saty village
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour in Almaty. Visit the Green Bazaar, Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, and explore the city center with its cozy alleys and boulevards. Have lunch in Almaty. In the afternoon, transfer to Saty village via Charyn Canyon. Have a late dinner and stay overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 3
Saty village
After breakfast, visit Lake Kaiyndy in a UAZ off-road vehicle. Take a short walk to the lake. Return to the village for lunch. Then, visit Kolsai Lake and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. Return to the village for dinner and stay overnight in the guest house.

Day 4
Saty-Karakol
After breakfast, we'll head towards Karakol town. We'll travel on the Kegen-Karkyra road to reach the Kyrgyzstan border, which takes around 2-3 hours. After crossing the border, we'll continue our journey to Karakol town. Along the way, we'll stop to see the San-Tash Scythian Kurgans, known as "counted stones." Upon arrival in Karakol, we'll have a late lunch. After lunch, we'll explore the city by visiting the Dungan Mosque, famous for its construction without nails, and the Orthodox Cathedral Church. We'll then check-in to our guesthouse. For dinner, we'll be treated to a Dungan-style meal hosted by a local Dungan family. They'll share the intriguing history of the Dungan people's Arab-Chinese heritage during the dinner.

Day 5
Karakol – Altyn Arashan - Karakol
Travel to Altyn-Arashan mountain gorge. You'll reach the place using a special off-road vehicle (UAZ) designed for passengers. The road follows the Arashan river and ascends the hills until you reach the Arashan hot spring thermal bath valley. Enjoy the natural beauty and have lunch. After lunch, take some rest before starting the hike down to Ak Suu village. The terrain is easy to hike and takes about 4 hours at an average walking speed. A vehicle will accompany you for any emergencies or sudden weather changes. Accommodation will be provided in a guesthouse, and dinner will be at a local café.

Day 6

Karakol - Bokonbaev
After breakfast, you'll travel to Bokonbay village, following the road along the southern shore of Issyk-Kol lake. Along the way, you'll visit the Jeti-Oguz Gorge, also known as the Seven Bulls, for about 1 hour. You'll also explore the Kok-Jayik area, known as the Valley of Flowers. Lunch will be provided during the journey as you continue driving along the southern shore of Issyk-Kol lake. You'll visit Skazka Canyon, also called the Fairy Tale Canyon, on the way. Afterwards, you'll head towards Bokonbaevo village. Here, you can join a show featuring eagle hunting and archery. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at a yurt camp.

Day 7

Bokonbaev – Son Kol Lake
After breakfast, you'll be taken to the mountain lake Song-Kol via Kochkor village. While in the village, you'll have the opportunity to visit a local family for lunch and take part in a workshop to learn how to make traditional felt carpets. After lunch, we'll continue our journey to Song-Kol, crossing the Kalmak-Ashuu pass (3400m). Upon arrival at the northern lake shore, you'll be warmly welcomed at the yurt camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided in the yurt.

Day 8
Son Kol Lake – Chong - Kemin
After breakfast, you'll have the chance to experience the daily life of a family living at a summer pasture. You'll witness activities such as milking the cow, making cream, and boiling tea in a samovar (a self-brewing tea boiler). Following this, you can enjoy a short horseback ride. Later, we'll transfer to Chong-Kemin Valley. Dinner and bed & breakfast accommodation will be provided in a comfortable guesthouse.

Day 9
Chong-Kemin - Bishkek
After breakfast, we'll head to Bishkek. Along the way, we'll visit the Burana Tower, an architectural complex from the 11th century, which was an important stop on the Great Silk Road. Once we arrive, we'll check into the hotel, where you can freshen up and take a rest. Later, we'll explore the Osh Bazaar and take a tour of the city. For our final evening together, we'll have a farewell dinner at a restaurant, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
